Hi, I'm Ariana

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 8 years in private practice and a decade of experience supporting youth in school settings. I'm glad you're here. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not a script. I offer a space that is honest, compassionate, and tailored to you. You don't need to have everything figured out or explain things perfectly. You just need a place to feel heard, respected, and supported.

My Story

I grew up in Brownsville, Texas, a vibrant border town, and have always been naturally curious about people. From an early age I found myself observing others, asking deeper questions, and gravitating toward meaningful conversation.

That curiosity led me to education, where I spent years working as a teacher then school counselor. I loved connecting with students, but I remember distinctly the moment I realized I wanted to go further. A student needed support that went beyond what I could offer in that role, and I had to hand them off. That moment stayed with me. I wanted to connect at a deeper level and be the person who could truly help. That's what led me to become a therapist.

I don't ever want anyone to feel like they have no one to talk to. That drives everything I do.

Who I Am Outside the Office

I come from a large, close-knit family and am a twin. I am a mom and stepmom, and my experience gives me a deep appreciation for the joys and challenges of parenting. Family is at the center of everything I do. I was a competitive athlete through college and still believe deeply in the power of movement, especially outdoors. You'll find me baking, cooking, gardening, reading, or exploring somewhere new. I value creativity, connection, and always trying new things.

What Guides My Work

My work is rooted in compassion, grace, and the belief that every person has inherent worth and dignity. I bring those values into every session, creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

My Approach

I take a whole health perspective, addressing mind, body, and life as connected parts. My integrative approach draws from a range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, solution-focused strategies, DBT, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapy, adapting to what works best for you rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. I focus on practical tools, self-awareness, and building resilience that lasts beyond our sessions.

Who I Support

I work with adults, adolescents, and children ages 10 and up navigating anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, family dynamics, depression, relationship challenges, parenting stress, low self-esteem, burnout, identity exploration, perfectionism, life transitions, and more. Together, we explore patterns, build healthier habits, and set boundaries that support meaningful growth and emotional well-being.

Collaborative and Compassionate

Therapy is a collaborative process. I bring compassion and curiosity to help you connect with your strengths, clarify what matters most, and move toward greater peace and balance. I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself.

If you're ready to feel more grounded and supported, I invite you to reach out.
